It was Saturday afternoon, and luckily, Hungary didn't have work the weekend. So, to celebrate the free two days, she decided to get some new clothes...
...Because that's just what girls do, right?
She had gotten off of Hynes Station with the intention of spending last week's paycheck on clothes from Newbury Street and maybe taking some stalker photos of cute guys, but no one needed to know that. However, she somehow made her way to the Barnes and Noble store, so instead of buying clothes, she was hiding in the Manga section engrossed in her third volume of some shojo manga.
God, Japan comes out with some really addictive things like yaoi doujinshi, but no one needed to know she reads those, too.

Belarus was looking through a travel book on Russia. She felt dirty for looking at her half-brother like this in public but love is love and if Belarus couldn't look at Russia's glorious canyons and snowcapped mountains in private, then public would have to do for now. With her stack of books in hand, she found herself wandering around the bookstore.
Turning the corner, she came across the graphic novel section. There weren't very many graphic novels that were written in Russia but sometimes Belarus felt the need to check anyway. She pulled a copy of Dragon Ball Z from the shelf and looked at Goku's overpowering muscles, reminding herself of how strong and well-built her love is.
"Brother..." she said, looking at the cover, Goku's face completely turning into Russia's.

Hungary closed the book she was reading and slipped it back into the shelf, tempted to read the next one. Reaching for another book, she heard someone say something she didn't quite catch and turned in the direction of the voice. She spotted a girl with a stack of books and thought she had seen her around school campus before.
Taking a few steps closer to the other girl, Hungary noticed that the other girl was looking at the cover of Dragon Ball Z. "Hey, you don't happen to go to Hetalia U, do you?" she spoke in attempts to strike up a conversation. Why exactly, she wasn't sure.

When Belarus heard someone speaking to her, she almost dropped the book on Lithuania that she had purchased and then hollowed out to fill with a steak knife. However, she held tightly to the books on Russia and luckily, they were surrounding the Lithuanian knifeholder. Her surprise did cause her to drop the manga and nearly tumble into the Dragon Ball Z display but luckily, she decided not to play out her shock as much as she truly wanted to.
"Yes, I am a student there," she admitted. How did this girl know? "Why do you ask?"

"Oh, I'm a student there, too, and I thought I might have seen you around campus, is all," Hungary replied. "I'm not a stalker or anything; don't worry." She laughed, trying to make the conversation less awkward.
Seeing that the other girl had dropped the manga, Elizabeta bent down to get it and extended her arm to hand it over it her. "So, buying books for class?" she asked, looking at the pile of books she had, though she didn't recognize any of them.

"I see," Belarus wasn't thinking about the potential of having a stalker at all. In fact, she didn't even know what a stalker is so the thought never crossed her mind and never would. Ever. Apparently the steak knife did not need to come out but now she felt obligated to reply again. "I see," she said, definitely not repeating herself.
Looking at the books in her arms, she hugged them tighter. "No," she responded. "Russia is just my passion."

"I see," Hungary replied, not thinking about how it was the third time those two words had been used together in the conversation. "Russia's cool...Really big country." She tried to recall if there was a Russia at school. Maybe this girl was Russia and that's why she was passionate about it. Gosh, Hungary needed to get more acquainted with the people going to her school.
"Oh, I'm Elizabeta, by the way," she said, smiling.

((ooc: Sorry I'm being slow. This is my homework time and I'm sneaking tags in.))
"He is a big country," Belarus replied, thinking about how large Russia is in more ways than one. She had never actually seen Russia's male parts but she assumed they were the largest the world has ever seen and though the skintone didn't match up, she often superimposed his head onto that of a well-hung black man. "He is also the love of my life."
Belarus did not smile back but she didn't frown. "Natalia," she greeted.

[[OOC: Ah, it's fine...I really should be doing my own homework. orz]]
Oh, so Russia was a guy. And the love of her life. That definitely cleared some things up...Wait, wasn't Russia referred to as the Motherland? Hungary thought it was probably not wise to ask Natalia, judging by her stoic face. Her mind started wondering about how big he was...down there...even though she had never met him.
Curse her prevented brain. Maybe she shouldn't have mentioned Russia was a big country.
Trying to think if she had seen Russia around, the image of Evgeni Plushenko popped up. Elizabeta tried pushing it to the back of her mind, though she had a feeling she saw someone who looked like him around.
"So, uh, do you like Dragon Ball Z?" she asked, referring back at the book Natalia had been looking at before.

Belarus could sense that this girl, this Elizabeta was thinking about her Russia inappropriately. She knew that particular brain wave and could sense it a kilometer away. Her eyes narrowed because she knew Elizabeta had to be enjoying the thoughts of Russia lying naked in a bed of rose petals smothered in glistening cherry pie with flakey crust.
She tried not to drool but she couldn't help the slightly sinister look on her face. "Yes," she said, deciding to speak a language that this girl could understand, "Just know that Russia is mine and that my power level is over one million."

"Okay...?" Hungary replied, her brow furrowing while her mind contemplated whether she should be scared or if she should get her frying pan. It'd be at least nice to know how Russia even look liked. "Wasn't planning on going near your boyfriend." Considering I don't even know him.
God, she really wished she had her frying pan right now and smack that sinister look off the other girl's face. Hmm...there were heavy books around.

The evil look on Belarus' face completely faded only to be replaced with a sparkling smile. It wasn't a large smile by any means but it would light up any dark cave. "Then we are fine, Miss Elizabeta." She hugged her pornography books on Russia tightly. She didn't even want to let the books go just in case Elizabeta was thinking about her brother still.

Natalia was just thoroughly confusing the Hungarian now, and seeing her smile so brightly almost made Elizabeta feel guilty for wishing she had her infamous frying pan to use. She returned the smile unsure, not knowing how exactly to respond, and noticed the other girl hugging her books. Well, she supposed it was nice that Russia had a girlfriend who cared for him that much.

"It was nice meeting you," Natalia said, talking a step backward, hoping that she could quietly slip away without having to employ a hidden trapdoor of some sort. "Perhaps we will have a class together."

"Nice to meet you, too," Elizabeta replied and turned slightly to towards the bookshelf, seeing Natalia back away to leave. "Yeah, maybe..." she trailed off before adding, "Have a nice day."
