This list is posted on a big bulletin board outside the school's main office. Any student can sign up to run in the election. (Which will be held next weekend so sign-ups end April 2nd.)

America skipped the whole "signing up" thing and already is posting 'VOTE AMERICA FOR STUDENT COUNCIL PRESIDENT - THE CLEAR CHOICE FOR FREEDOM, DEMOCRACY, AND PIZZA AT EVERY STUDENT COUNCIL MEETING!' signs.

Since obviously no one will be able to resist America's shiny posters and irresistible charm and free pizza, it may very well turn out that way.
We should do a thread together soon. The email thread was fun and apparently America and England are going on a date-o to the dance so I'm excited!
