It's a good thing America had another one of those treaties in his pocket, and at least fifty more sitting in his room somewhere, because otherwise he'd probably start arguing with Arthur about how he didn't know best for EVERYTHING, and that's definitely not what these two needed right now.
"If you put it off for later, you're only going to be increasing the amount of time you spend picking up the stuff your room mate throws out the window!" Treaty #2 was taken out of America's pocket, and he alternated between poking Spain and poking England with a pen. "Just do it now!"

Arthur scowled and grabbed the sheet of paper out of Alfred's hand, placing the treaty down on his desk, and filling out their names at the top. "I will sign this as a temporary measure. But we will be writing something more permanent before the week is out, Spain." He signed the bottom with his fancy fountain pen and then thrust the treaty into Antonio's face. "Sign."

Why did they have to do something now when they were going to apparently do that same something again later? Antonio groaned and took the pen that was shoved directly into his face, "All right, all right!" He scribbled a squiggle that didn't resemble his signature in any real way but with the angle and his total lack of motivation in doing this, it was hard to expect more. "Happy?"
Looking back and forth between Arthur and Alfred, Antonio was STILL wondering why he was still there. Maybe the two of them could be roommates instead!

America grinned and promptly took the newly signed treaty and taped it to their door. "I'll put it here to remind you of your mutual agreement and how I saved the day yet again!"
Once thoroughly taped up, he turned back to Spain and England and gave them both two thumbs up and two winks. Today was shaping up pretty well, all he needed now was some ice cream and a hug! "See ya later!" he said, leaving to go back downstairs and dig some ice cream out of his fridge. Maybe he could convince Israel to give him a hug, too...
Or maybe not.

Arthur waved Alfred off flippantly, and turned back to Antonio. "We should schedule a time sometime this week to write our treaty," he said, "because this one is insufficient. You don't seem to particularly care at the moment, but this is actually important. Foreign relations is a big part of why we're even here and I would appreciate it if you would take this seriously."

"Yeah, of course!" Spain agreed with false enthusiasm, mostly just to shut England up for the time being. He was relieved that America had left and that he might finally be able to escape! Though, the idea of spending some one-on-one time with England actually tore him up inside and made him want cry. "I'll email you about it so we don't have to actually meet up, all right?"
He began side-stepping toward the door and waited for just the right moment for when England BLINKED to rush out the door to his freedom!

It is now March 22!
After having received a very cheerful txtmsg from Spain, France jumped at the opportunity to spend some time with one of his best friends, and annoying someone without any friends. It only seemed polite to knock on the door before he entered the room, not bothering with waiting for someone to open it for him.
"Allo, allo~"

Antonio had mentioned in an email that he had invited Francis over, but Arthur had been hoping against hope that the Spaniard had been joking, just trying to get on his nerves.
It was apparent, however, that he had been telling the truth. Arthur made a sound of complete and utter annoyance and stood up, taking several steps toward the Frenchman.
"No. You turn around right now and get out of my sight, Francis, or so help me God..."

Spain, on the other hand, was overcome with glee and happiness upon seeing his beloved French friend! He sprung up from his chair, eyes sparkling and arms outstretched as if to greet his good friend in a loving embrace from across the room.
"Francisco!" he called out, the sparkles around him glittering splendiferously. "Mi amor!"

France, too, felt his heart grow with happiness when he saw Spain greeting him. Opening his arms and meeting his embrace with a cry of "Antoine, mon amour!", Francis hugged him tightly...!!
...And gave England a snide look. "I have not come to see you, little man. I'm visiting my friend!"

Arthur felt vaguely nauseated at the show of affection between the two men. He scowled and went to sit back down at his desk, intent on continuing his studies. "Can't Spain just go visit you in your room, then? I don't want you here."

Spain enjoyed the hug and then turned around to look at England, glancing at him for a moment before looking at France, still smiling brightly. "France's room doesn't have the Wii Fit!" Spain gestured toward his Nintendo Wii and the Wii Fit sitting so joyously on the ground.
He extended his arm toward England in a mock welcoming, "Join our group hug, Señor Mariposón!"

"Well, then it's a good thing that Spain wants me here, isn't it?"
Francis sat on Antonio's bed as if it was his own, ready to watch Spain get healthy with the help of Nintendo. But of course, he couldn't stop himself from one last hit at England. "Ah, non, Antonio, I don't think Mr. Eyebrows here could possibly use your game. He would probably pull a muscle trying to do yoga".

Arthur fumed, determined not to explode, as he knew that that was what Francis wanted. Unfortunately it was very difficult, and he couldn't hold back. He stood, pointing at Francis in an accusatory fashion. "Oh would you just shut the bloody hell up you poncey git," he said, "This is my room too and I don't have to tolerate your presence here. Now get out."

Antonio turned on the Nintendo Wii. "But Arturito, doesn't our peace treaty say that guests are allowed across our room's borders?" He moved the Wii Fit further away from the television and trespassed across borders that were not his own, claiming floor that was not his in the name of Spain's Wii Fit.
He stood on top of the Wii Fit as the game booted up. "You should weigh yourself and see if you're fit!"
