Ten Facts About Your Character:
- Esteban is laid-back in most aspects to the point of being a slacker. Because of this, his grades tend to fall short of what he could do, averaging Bs & Cs where he could be making As if he applied himself. It's not really that he's lazy, but he has such an easy-going attitude about most things that he thinks it pointless to get worked up over something that isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
- On the flip-side of this, however, if he finds something to be passionate about, he goes at it full-force, sometimes getting carried away, forgetting his actions affect other people besides himself, for better or worse.
- Jovial and gregarious, he enjoys the company of other people, and tends to like almost anyone unless they give him a reason not to. Even if he gets off on the wrong foot with someone, he will easily forgive a person who apologizes/tries to clear things up right away with no hard feelings.
- ...but if you manage to properly get on his bad side, watch out, because he can and will hold a grudge stubbornly. In fact, he still can't stand Alfred to this day because of a certain incident that occurred when they were both attending the same high school several years ago. It's to the point where Esteban, normally an amiable guy, will become violent at the sight of him.
- Esteban has a tendency to make assumptions at times, and can jump to the wrong conclusion quickly, but he also has no qualms about apologizing and trying to make things right, believing it's no insult to his pride to admit he made a mistake (though unfortunately he hasn't quite gotten the hang of learning from his mistakes, and often repeats them).
- He likes to think of himself as somewhat of a champion of the downtrodden, and won't refuse a request for help if it's in his power to do something, though he hesitates to meddle in affairs where his aid is not actually asked for.
- Esteban has several vices. The most obvious is that he's pretty much a chain smoker, rarely seen for too long without a cigarette or cigar at his lips. He's been known to smoke something other than tobacco as well (spoiler:marijuana) and though he doesn't do that out in the public eye, it's hardly a secret.
- His other big weakness is sweets and sugary things, but especially ice cream. He really can't resist it, and will even have it several times a day depending on the weather.
- His love of sweets coupled with his slow-paced, laid-back lifestyle have left him on the chubby side, though his weight tends to yo-yo between the heavy side of normal and somewhat overweight depending on the time of year and whether or not he is making an effort to exercise that week. It's something he tries not to worry about, though at times he can be surprisingly sensitive about it.
- Esteban is very generous, believing if he enjoys something that he should share it with others so they can enjoy it too.
A secret he/she wouldn't want anyone to learn about: He has a tendency to get hugely caught up in certain telenovellas, and has been known to occasionally skip class/events to see a new installment, though he always DVRs every new episode.
