Boston, Massachusetts is known for its high concentration of prestigious and top notch schools so it almost seemed like the perfect location for Hetalia University. Professor Pangaea built his school with the education of a special group of youth in mind; the countries of the world.
During this day and age, you may bump into someone in a coffee shop, spill coffee on your shirt, curse that person down and never know that you are talking to Norway. The countries of the world look just like any other person and walk among everyone else. Some of them prefer to keep quiet about their status, enjoying a nice book in a bookshop, while others parade down the street while announcing their country status in fanfare. The people know there are countries among them, how they feel about each one depends on the individual.
In this world, the countries have a mortal lifespan. When the previous country needs to be replaced, it is foolish to send in an inexperienced replacement. This is the purpose of Hetalia University. To educate, socialize and brainwash the new generation of countries.
