Hungary walked passed a blond with Skittles and a boy with auburn hair. Not paying attention to where she was going, she suddenly felt a force knock her over and into someone else.
"Oof," she mumbled. She looked up at the boy sitting on top of her who then jumped off and extended his hand to her. Reaching for his hand, she replied, "Oh, it's my fault; I really should have been looking at where I was going."

Italy was absolutely terrible at saying no to candy. He was told time and time again that you shouldn't take candy from strangers, but this stranger didn't look very scary. The Skittles he was offering looked kind of weird, but he was certain they were still good!
Just as he was reaching for the bag of skittles and intended to thank the blond boy, Spain arrived, promptly colliding with a pretty girl with long brown hair that was walking the opposite direction and sending them falling backwards right onto the blond boy with the Skittles. Italy watched them helplessly. As Spain got off the girl and offered his hand to help her stand up, he wailed. "Spaiiiiin, I'm here tooooo!"

The first thing America noticed was that his Skittles were gone.
The second thing was that he was on the ground, apparently thanks to the clumsiness of the girl and guy whose limbs he was trying to sort out in relation to his own.
"Is everyone okay?" he asked, his glasses askew from the fall. "I don't know what the heck happened but I'll fix it - did you drop this?"
He addressed the girl, then the guy, and held up a bag now devoid of Skittles. "Oh wait, that's mine," he amended, adjusting his glasses - much better!

Oh, how adorable! Now she seemed to be more comfortable, that was good. Smiling at the girl while trying to appear kind and charming, Romano noted, "China, huh? It must be--"
Then he heard a wail and a tumble and the clattering of chairs.
With a startled jump, he whirled around to see his brother lying in a mess of chairs. "What the hell, you fucker?!" he cried out, seeming to forget that he was in the presence of a gentle lady! "I told you you were gonna fall like that, dammit!!"
When he was about to step forward, he felt Spain collide with him and running by, and a scowl came across his face. Why the hell was he so excited to see Veneziano? Dammit, his brother always got the attention. The dick.
As Spain ran into some innocent bypasser, Romano decided to use this convenient moment to stride over to his brother. With an exasperated noise, he knelt down and rapped Veneziano's skull with a fist. "Dumbass," he chided, as if he were talking to a disobedient dog.
Giving that head another whack for good measure, he sent what he hoped was a murderous glare at America. "Goddammit, you creepy asshole!! Don't give that fucking suspicious candy to idiots who don't know better!!"

Italy was rather glad to see his brother finally approaching him. Romano would surely help him out of this pile of chairs and help Spain and the blond boy and the pretty girl too! "Brother~!" he exclaimed.
Only to be whacked in the head twice for being a "dumbass".
Italy blinked in mild pain as he watched Romano yelling at the blond boy for giving him suspicious candy. The Skittles didn't look very suspicious... he thought miserably. "Romanoooo, help me~!" he cried, wriggling among the chairs.

Ah... The outstretched hand lowered, figuring it wasn't...all that important. At least the boy seemed kind. He just had to clear up..the little misunderstanding and then hopefully, they could be good frie---
"A-Aiyah!" China bristled slightly at the way the boy with the hair curl cried out--it was so sudden! Though, he couldn't blame him. There seemed to have been a collision between several people, chairs, and it looked as if there was candy involved. "Aiyah...." He repeated, more out of exasperation this time than anything else, his hand rising up to brush at the hair falling into his face and to rub at his neck. These Westerners were so different from what he was used to. With hands clasped behind his back, he took a step or two towards the scene, curious as to if everybody was alright. It was his tendency to worry about others.
Ah...it looks like he's stuck... He stepped over and removed several of the chairs from the area, hopefully creating a bit more space for the other to get out.

"Fine, fine, just hold on a sec!!" Romano replied irritably, standing up straight again. He started pulling at the chairs, thinking that maybe if he just yanked at random ones, everything would fix itself. The Italian wasn't really renowned for smarts or brawn, so maybe he wasn't exactly the best choice for Veneziano to ask for help.
Then he noticed the Chinese girl trying to help, and he couldn't help but blush a little. Cute and generous? Definitely rare!
"Bella mia, you don't have to help! I have this under control," Romano told her, as he accidentally dropped the chair he was holding. Which toppled over some chairs that had just been fixed and jumbled up the mess even more. But he didn't notice, with his preoccupation of this young lady.

After grabbing the boy's hand and getting up to dust herself off, Hungary noticed the auburn-haired boy lying in a pile of chairs and an Asian was started to move some chair to help him. She turned to the chairs and started pushing them to their upright position. As she tried to help the Italian from the mess of chairs, she saw another go over and whack his head. Well, that's not very nice... Elizabeta thought and assumed that they must be brothers with the family resemblance.
"Are you alright?" Hungary asked once she had sufficiently moved enough chairs out of the way As the other Italian dropped another chair near her, she extended her hand to the boy on the ground.
Wait, isn't she a little too flat chested to be a girl? Hungary wondered looking at the Chinese girl the older brother had addressed.

Finally, he was free! Italy quickly crawled away from the pile of chairs and hugged the waist of the pretty brown-haired girl. "Ve~, I'm saved! Thank you, thank you~!" he exclaimed.
Then it occurred to him that he should thank Romano and the Chinese girl he had addressed. He looked at them with a big grin. "And thank you, brother! And you too..." he blinked. "Ve...? You don't look that much like a girl..."

((....-Sobs over China's developing gender-complex.-))
China couldn't help but to laugh slightly as the hair-curled boy dropped a chair as he was saying how he didn't have to help. "I-It's fine, aru. I'm happy to help." But, in no time, the boy under the chairs was pulled out by a girl with long amber hair. Sighing, he looked over the scene, glad that everybody was alright, and that he didn't have to pull out his kung-fu technique to get the chairs out of the way.
China nodded, eyes closed, as the boy who made his way out of the chairs thanked the both of them. But...argh!! Eyelids fluttered open, and lips pursed. He honestly had had enough of this. Being rude was what he least wanted to do, but in this case he really just had to speak up! A hand rose to rub at the back of his neck nervously, not really wanting to have to correct strangers. An odd-sounding laugh made its way out as a pre-cursor to his words. "Ahahaha, aiyah....I-I don't look much like..." He swallowed, forcing the word out. "a girl. B-Because I'm...I'm not one, aru. I'm twenty-one years old and...male. A-Always have been."
His head bowed in apology. "I'm sorry for the confusion. I-I hope this wasn't...wasn't any trouble to you, aru." Stupid, stupid, stupid!! Maybe I should have just let them think I was a girl...but then they'd find out later and aaaaahhhhh. He wanted to dig a hole and crawl inside. Not the best first impression, huh?

Smiling when the younger boy hugged her, Hungary mentally noted how adorable he was. "No problem," she replied as he looked over at the other two.
Hearing the Chinese boy speak, Elizabeta bit her lip to stifle a giggle. Gender confusion really happened enough in her life that she was not baffled by the announcement. Looking at the Asian more closely, she noticed that it shouldn't have been too hard to realized he was not a girl. That chest was too flat and hips too narrow, but how was she one to speak? Hungary got her own gender mixed up when she was younger.

[ooc: derp. A question - which countries know which other countries already? It seems Spain and Romano are pretty close already, and it...just feels slightly odd for Switzerland to have to introduce himself to Hungary or Austria, say. America, I could understand though - Vash probably doesn't know exactly what Alfred looks like in person. D:]
Through the large professor's entire speech, Vash had been toying with the headphones in his pocket and trying - but failing - to control his yawns. It was probably a bad indication that this school bored him already, he thought irritably; were all of the professors going to be this idealistic and hippy and probably high off their rockers? Well, at least he'd be starting his banking internship in a few weeks, so he had that to look forward to, but in the meantime he had to learn how to get used to strange American food and possibly a roommate who he didn't even know and might be inclined to infringe upon his property, and...
The crashing of chairs behind Vash knocked him out of his reverie, although it did nothing for his growing grumpiness. Apparently his fellow students were being...social. And destructive. Vash considered stalking off to find a nice tree to sit under and enjoy his privacy with, but before that thought could fully express itself, Liech's voice cut in instead.
"You'll try to make friends at school, right, Brother? Will you tell me about them?"
Well, it wasn't as if he wanted friends...but he couldn't very well let Liech down, if she really expected him to at least try. Vash sighed, grabbed his knapsack, and turned around to confront...well, inspect the noise makers, expecting a couple of hooligan states. He was thus surprised when he found himself glaring at Hungary, with some boy attached to her waist.
"Hungary, you're at this school too?" Vash asked, momentarily forgetting to be hostile. And then he remembered. "Wait, does that mean that stupid nobl...I mean, your boyfriend is here as well?"

[OOC: Hmm...I'm actually not sure. xD I think previous relations are just discussed; like, I was talking to Prussia's Missa about whether or not Hungary and Prussia should already know each other.]
Looking up at someone saying her name, Elizabeta was surprised to see Vash, without a gun at that. Ah, finally, a familiar face. She wondered how she hadn't noticed him before.
"Switzerland? I'm surprised I didn't spot you earlier," Hungary said. She paused for a moment at his question, "Well...we sort of broke up a while ago actually..." she trailed off, eyes looking downcast for a moment before remembering to answer the question. "Um, I think he mentioned something about coming here, but I haven't actually seen him."

[ooc: Whoops, sorry. Are you okay with Swiss knowing Hungary then, or should I retcon that? ^^;]
"That sounds just like him." Vash muttered, and then wondered if he was, as Liech had mentioned, "being rude" again. Since he really couldn't afford to be undiplomatic to one of the two people he actually knew here...
"...er, I guess I probably shouldn't have brought it up." He added hastily, and looked around to avoid having to mention Austria again, since Hungary did look sad. "Do you...know any of these people? They're rather noisy."

[OOC: It's fine. : ) Swiss knowing Hungary makes sense, so it's not a problem.]
"Oh, it's fine, really," Hungary replied, laughing sheepishly. After all, it was a mutual decision...right? She looked down at the boy hugging her and then back at Vash, shaking her head to answer his question. "He just felt and was tangled up in a bunch of chairs, so I decided to help him."
Elizabeta looked around to see if she could find anyone else she knew, in case she missed anyone like she had missed Vash, but did not see anyone. "So, how's Liechtenstein?" she asked when she turned her attention back to Vash.
